Andes Mountains, Peru | June 20-28, 2008

Purpose: Evangelism and Church Planting. Working with local churches and believers with evangelism and discipling with a purpose to establish and strengthen local churches. This will be a youth and family oriented trip.

Trip Description: At the foot of the 15,000 foot Peruvian Andes Mountains, lie the many small villages and cities just waiting to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. With the exact Peruvian location still to be determined, this trip may be to a city such as Arequipa and its surrounding villages. Known as the “white city” because of the wide use of white volcanic rock as building material it is full of colonial architecture and has the dormant volcano “El Misti” that towers in the background. Arequipa is one of the larger cities of Peru with a strong tradition among its Quechua people, many of whom are longing for a personal encounter with Jesus. Come join us as we make Him known in the area.
