Cali Update

Some of you may have seen reports of a volcanic eruption near Neiva, Colombia at 11:20 pm Monday night. Obviously our immediate concern was our team of missionaries doing evangelism in that country. The location of the volcano is approximately 100 miles East/Southeast from Cali and there is a large mountain range in between. We have confirmed by email that our team is safe. In fact, they have not heard anything about it in Cali. They also emailed the following report:

We had a great start yesterday. There were over 600 presentations of the gospel yesterday with over 450 professions of faith. Vicki is doing better and thank you for the prayers. Firewheel Team is experiencing God up close and personal as they have Divine appointments with the Colombians. We feel your prayers and acknowledge that God is using you to empower us for His Kingdom purposes.

God bless each one of you,

Sam Ingrassia for the Firewheel Team

Please continue to be praying for our team and the work they continue to do. We pray for a great harvest! Also keep in your prayers the people of Neiva. At this time there are no reports of injuries or major damage.

Thank you for posting up-dates on the trip so we can pray more specifically for you! It is so encouraging to hear how you are all doing!
