Dear Church,
Well, it is Wednesday and we are blessed to have completed even more work. Thursday will be our last day of work, so please pray today that we are able to complete everything that the Lord has laid before us. On Wednesday, we:
- completed the stage area
- finished installing the lower AC unit as well as all ducting and registers
- installed about 20 ballasts in lights
- went through a ton of paint
- patched drywall and sprayed in new acoustic ceiling
- installed security windows in doors
- made a few minor modifications to the drainage system
- ran new ductwork into the entry area
The Lord has blessed us in that we are still injury free. Please pray that we will be able to complete all our tasks today and come home to you safely.
While in NJ, we have eaten like Kings thanks to the fine cooking of Linda and Laurie. We've been working 12+ hour days and not a one of us has lost any weight!

It is so wonderful that each of you committed time away from your families here in DFW to serve the Giamba family in NJ and help rebuild their church. Your mission trip won't yield hundreds of commitments to Christ that each of you saw firsthand (as is common in other mission trips), but you've planted the seeds necessary, in the form of a building, for the church to soon showcase our loving God to the community. Bless y'all and we'll pray for safe travels and no nails in your shoes.
Wow, what a week of work that you have accomplished. I know you will be tired as you come back, but the large number of folks you have impacted will only truly be known when you get to heaven. Having lived in that region for 15 years growing up, I am grateful that you have been seeding back into those lives!!!
