There is a common answer to our question, "When you die, where will you go? Heaven or Hell?" It's usually, "I don't know."
Orthodoxy has deep and strong roots among the precious Romanian people. The Gospel is planted in a very cold and stony ground. Most believe that they are not good enough to become Christians thinking that works and deeds can somehow convince God of their worthiness. God will judge you after you die. Then you will find out how well you performed.
In many instances, our conversations are planted seeds that will require the Holy Spirit to water and grow. Many are resistant, many get angry, many are simply confused and unsure. But many more are seeking, receptive to God's grace. Many do understand. Many more are willing to abandon an ancient religion for the freedom of a relationship.
This morning, we prayed to the Lord of the Harvest to open doors of opportunity. We know that we are but eleventh hour workers, reaping a harvest in a dark and desperate part of the world. Praise God, we are receiving dozens and dozens of professions of faith in Christ alone. But much more prayer is needed for the families of individuals who may have to endure persecution for their decision.
This picture was taken yesterday in the village of Cenei. It's the steps to a typical Romanian village home. (Click to enlarge)

Richard, Paulette;
The kids liked seeing your pictures and proud of the work of the Lord you are engaged in. Sunday at lunch Collin told 3 different people that his Mom & Dad were in Romania telling people about Jesus. The Missions Supporter prayer guide keeps my prayers focused on the Team and Peoples needs. Lord Bless.
